About Movexaro

An independent gaming knowledge platform, built for people who enjoy thinking about games as much as they enjoy playing them.

Our Story

How Movexaro Began

Movexaro started in 2023 as a small personal project — a place to write about games without the need to frame everything through the lens of reviews, scores, or purchasing advice. The founders had spent years reading gaming coverage that felt either too superficial or too niche, and decided to try something different.

The platform grew around a simple question: what do people actually want to know about games? The answer turned out to be more varied than expected. Some visitors arrive looking for quiz content to test themselves. Others come for long-form pieces about design history or player psychology. A few are just curious about topics they've never had time to explore.

Movexaro serves all of those audiences, without pretending to be something it's not. It is not a review site, a news outlet, or a competitive ranking platform. It is an editorial space that takes games seriously as a subject worth understanding.

What We Stand For

Editorial Values

The principles that shape every article, quiz, and feature published on Movexaro.

Accuracy First

Every factual claim is checked. Quiz answers are sourced from reliable documentation. We correct mistakes when they're pointed out, without delay.

Clear Writing

We avoid jargon where plain language works, and we explain technical concepts without assuming every reader has decades of gaming experience.

Editorial Independence

Movexaro does not accept advertising or sponsored content. Our coverage is not influenced by publishers, developers, or any commercial relationship.

Reader Respect

We don't use dark patterns, misleading headlines, or manufactured controversy to drive clicks. Our readers are intelligent — we write accordingly.

Our Purpose

Why Gaming Knowledge Matters

Games are the most resource-intensive form of entertainment ever produced. A single modern title can involve thousands of contributors across multiple countries, drawing on software engineering, visual art, narrative writing, sound design, and behavioural psychology. Understanding games — even at a modest level — makes playing them richer.

There's also something valuable in understanding gaming history. The design decisions made in the 1980s and 90s still echo through modern titles in ways that aren't always obvious. Knowing why things are the way they are helps players appreciate what works and question what doesn't.

Movexaro exists to give people accessible entry points into that deeper understanding, whether through a five-minute quiz or a ten-minute article.
